Casier, Sile - Treviso

Casier, a municipality in the province of Treviso in the Veneto region, has a population of 11,390. It is a sprayed municipality, as the town hall is not located in the town centre but in the nearby hamlet of Dosson. Casier is situated in the low Venetian plain along the Sile River, adjacent to the provincial capital in the south-southeast direction.

There are several monuments and places of interest in Casier, including the parish church of San Teonisto. Construction began in 1753, and it was completed in 1864 near the complex of the ancient San Teonisto monastery. Another noteworthy attraction is Villa Barbaro, which is located to the west of the town centre along the main road, at the centre of a large park delimited to the north by the course of the Sile Morto.
